Hereโs how to get into Wild Florida Gator Park for free in October
Wild Florida Airboats, Gator Park & Drive-thru Safari announced it is giving visitors free weekday admission to the Gator Park during the month of October in honor of its 10-year anniversary. "We had a vision of bigger things to come, but none of us thought Wild Florida would be a 285-acre adventure park in such a short time. The Gator Park at Wild Florida offers visitors a chance to watch, touch and even feed native Florida animals, tropical birds and exotic animals from all over the world, according to its website. Wild Florida Gator Park admission is normally $10 per adult and $8 per child or $5 for Florida residents. The 14-acre Gator Park is located in Kenansville on Lake Cypress.

Rare albino alligator babies hatch at Wild Florida
Officials at the drive-thru safari and alligator park claim this is the first wildlife center in the world to successfully breed albino alligators. โThis is the most incredible thing we have done,โ Wild Florida co-owner Sam Haught told News 6 partner Florida Today. The Wild Florida team is working to develop a more positive attitude toward the prehistoric reptiles. The reptiles havenโt been named yet, however, the Wild Florida team is hoping to come up with some winter-themed names. In May, animal caretakers at Wild Florida collected 26 eggs and placed them in an incubator.
Wild Florida closes drive-thru safari park amid coronavirus pandemic
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. โ The last operational attraction at Wild Florida, the drive-thru safari, has shut down as coronavirus continues to spread across Florida. The airboat and gator adventure park announced on social media Saturday that the drive-thru safari would be closing that same day. โWild Florida Fans, it is with heavy hearts that we inform you effective today, Saturday, April 4th our Drive-thru Safari Park will be closed until further notice. The 85-acre safari park remained open because guests could stay with their own party in their own vehicles while interacting with more than 100 native and exotic species, so there was no need for them to come in contact with other visitors. Wild Florida closes all experiences except drive-thru safari
Wild Florida Airboats & Gator Park in Kenansville has announced at it would be shutting down all of its experiences except one. โWild Florida will suspend all airboat tours, animal encounters and admission to its Gator Park starting Monday, March 23,โ the company website said.
