Taco and margarita festival brings Cinco de Mayo to Clermont

Free event opens at noon, 11 a.m. for VIPs

CLERMONT, Fla. – Celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend on the shore of Lake Minneola by attending the inaugural Clermont Taco and Margarita Festival this Saturday and Sunday.

General admission is free and starts at noon, with entrance allowed at 11 a.m. for holders of sold-out VIP tickets, according to the event’s website.

The festival closes at 6 p.m. both days, taking place at Waterfront Park along 3rd Street.

The event is billed as Clermont’s first ever taco and margarita festival, a family-friendly activity promising several amenities from food trucks and mobile kitchens to local merchants, live musical entertainment, a kid zone and even professional wresting, aka Lucha Libre.
